EUROMALT Secretary general (Gianluca Nurra) attended the Hop Harvest 2025 in Strasbourg

Strasbourg (France) 9 September 2025: I had the chance of attending the Hop Harvest in Strasbourg, the second event in the #GrainToGlass series launched by the European Beer Group and its co-chairs, Tomáš Zdechovský and Hannes Heide. 

What an amazing opportunity for me to join this interesting visit to hops producers and processors in Strasbourg!

In the final roundtable I also had the opportunity to highlight the importance of malt as a key ingredient (of agricultural origin) that make beer exceptional — in addition to hops, yeast, and water — bringing the journey from grain to glass to life.
